These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Royal Plaza Hotel ("we", “us”, or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the royalplazaduqm.com website as well as any booking or reservation made at our hotel. By accessing the website or booking a stay with us, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
- Hotel: Royal Plaza Hotel located in Duqm, Sultanate of Oman.
- Guest/User: Any individual who accesses the website or makes a reservation at the Hotel.
- Booking/Reservation: The arrangement made with the Hotel to secure accommodation for specific dates.
- Website: The royalplazaduqm.com web portal.
- Services: Accommodation, amenities, facilities, and other guest hospitality services provided by the Hotel.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to register or place a reservation on our Website. By placing a booking, you warrant and represent that you possess the legal authority to enter into a binding contractual agreement and that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
4. Our Services
Royal Plaza Hotel provides luxury lodging, room service, dining options, fitness facilities, and business services. We act directly as the service provider for all reservations finalized on our platform. We make every effort to display room styles, photos, and list facilities as accurately as possible; however, actual room configurations may slightly vary.
5. Booking & Reservations
- Booking Confirmation: Reservations are only guaranteed upon receiving a confirmation email with a unique booking reference number.
- Rate Accuracy: While we endeavor to ensure all prices and room descriptions are correct, pricing or system errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations at our discretion.
- Special Requests: Preferences such as floor numbers, specific views, or early check-ins can be requested during booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate them, but they are not guaranteed.
6. Pricing, Taxes & Fees
- Base Rate: All room prices are quoted in Omani Rials (OMR) unless stated otherwise.
- Mandatory Fees: All room charges are subject to statutory taxes in accordance with Omani law, including a 5% Value Added Tax (VAT), 4% Tourism Fee, 5% Municipality Tax, and applicable local charges. These will be clearly itemized during checkout.
- Incidental Charges: Mini-bar items, spa services, laundry, room damages, and restaurant tabs are not included in the base room rate and must be settled upon check-out.
7. Payment Terms
- Accepted Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, cash (OMR), and bank transfers.
- Online Transactions: Online booking payments are processed securely via the Thawani Payment Gateway.
- Credit Card Verification: A valid credit card is required to secure all reservations. The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.
- Payment Timing: Non-refundable bookings are charged in full at the time of reservation. Flexible bookings can be settled at check-in or check-out depending on the selected plan.
8. Check-In & Check-Out
- Standard Times: Check-in time begins at 14:00 PM. Check-out must be completed by 12:00 PM (noon).
- Identification Requirement: All guests, including foreign nationals and Omani citizens, must present a valid passport or National/GCC ID card at the front desk upon arrival.
- Late Check-Out: Check-out past 12:00 PM is subject to availability and will incur additional charges.
9. Guest Conduct & House Rules
- Non-Smoking Policy: Royal Plaza Hotel is a smoke-free indoor establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms, corridors, and public indoor spaces. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor zones. A fee of 100 OMR will be charged for violations to cover deep-cleaning.
- Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the property, except for registered service animals.
- Quiet Hours: For the comfort of all guests, quiet hours are observed from 22:00 PM to 08:00 AM.
- Damages: Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Hotel rooms, furnishings, or equipment during their stay and will be billed accordingly.
- Refusal of Service: The Hotel reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate the stay of any guest whose conduct is deemed unacceptable or in violation of Omani laws.
10. Cancellation & Refund

11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Website, including all content, designs, logos, images, text, and graphics, is our proprietary property. No part of the Website or content may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, or publicly displayed without our prior written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Royal Plaza Hotel shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of our Website, reservation systems, or your stay at our property. Guests are advised to use the in-room safes to secure cash, jewelry, and valuable documents. The Hotel is not responsible for the loss or theft of valuables not stored inside safes.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Royal Plaza Hotel and its staff harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your breach of these Terms, negligence, or misconduct during your stay.

15. Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. Any legal action or dispute arising out of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Oman.
